In the steel industry, Ferrotitanium is used as a deoxidizer, desulfurizer, degassing agent, and alloy additive during steel production. It helps refine grain structure, fix interstitial elements, and improve steel strength.


In stainless steel and heat-resistant steel production, adding titanium can reduce intergranular corrosion and improve welding performance.


In the foundry industry, adding Ferrotitanium to cast iron helps promote fine graphite formation and plays a role in degassing, inoculation, purification, and structure refinement.
