Ferromolybdenum

Ferromolybdenum
Common Grades: FeMo55-A and FeMo60-B
Specifications: 10–70mm, 10–100mm
It is usually in lumps with a silvery-gray metallic luster, produced mainly from molybdenum concentrate by smelting.
Mo Equivalent Basis: 60% Mo basis
Applications:
  1. Steel Industry: Used in the production of high-strength alloy steels, stainless steels, and tool steels to improve the strength, toughness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance of steel.

  2. Mechanical Manufacturing: Helps produce high-quality components such as gears, shafts, and dies, extending their service life and improving operating efficiency.

  3. Petrochemical Industry: Used to manufacture corrosion-resistant equipment and pipelines.

  4. Aerospace: Commonly used in aircraft engine parts and spacecraft structural components to enhance the high-temperature performance and strength of materials.

Packaging & Storage: Packed in iron drums (100kg, 250kg, or 500kg per drum). Store in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse and avoid contact with humid air. During transportation, prevent package damage, rain exposure, and mixing with corrosive substances such as acids and alkalis.
